The first item to decide upon is the bed, of course. Do you want your new bed to be the same size as the old one? If you are simply replacing the bed without upgrading the size, you won't have to purchase new sheets or blankets. However, if you're buying a bigger bed, you'll need new bed accessories. Remember, too, to measure the space in your bedroom so that your new bed will fit. You may have to rearrange some of your existing bedroom furniture (if you're keeping any of it) so that your new bed will fit.
Next, you need to look at how much clothing storage you need. Some people are fine with a full sized pine dresser (one with three large drawers in it). Some people, though, may need both a dresser and a chest of drawers. Again, make sure you can fit both in your bedroom before you buy them. One new option, too, is to buy a TV stand dresser. These dressers may have smaller drawers, but they include a wide top that's big enough for a television. Don't forget to think about a mirror-many dressers include an optional mirror that attaches to the back. While it's not always included in the price, it can be a nice addition to your bedroom.
White Wicker Beds
If you do decide that you want a pine chest of drawers, you again have several decisions to make. How wide to you want the chest of drawers to be? Some are fairly skinny, while others can be more than half the size of your dresser. You also have to decide how many drawers you want. Some pine chests of drawers have as few as four or five, while others may have eight drawers or so. Again, it all depends on how much stuff you need to store in your chest of drawers.
Another item you might want to think about getting is a pine wardrobe. These are basically portable closets that you can hang a number of garments in. If your closet is constantly overflowing, you might want a wardrobe to handle your extra clothes. However, wardrobes do take up a lot of space, so keep that in mind. Most are also quite bulky and may be very heavy and hard to move.
You also need to decide if you need a nightstand. If you've purchased a modern bed frame, you might not. These low to the floor bed frames often have small nightstands attached to either side of the sleeping area. However, if you've gone with a more traditional bed, you may need to buy a couple of small nightstands or other small tables. Overall, it can become very easy to invest in to many items of Pine bedroom furniture but with careful planning the design of your bedroom can be very efficient.
